The Education Programs at Living Faith focus on a play-based and child lead curriculum as a foundation for learning. We believe that an environment that supports learning through play provides opportunities for children to learn as they discover, explore, problem solve, construct, imagine, and build meaningful relationships.
Programming is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines which describes the principles, practice and outcomes essential to support and enhance young children's learning from birth to five years of age, as well as their transition to school.
A Government Approved Free Kindergarten program operates in our 4-5yr room and is based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) The guidelines is the curriculum that assists and supports Kindergarten teachers' practices and strategies in an early childhood setting.
Programs are responsive and inclusive and value, acknowledge and build on diversity, encouraging respect for others. Educators build professional relationships with families and community members to enhance and enrich the program and support children's learning.
Living Faith Early Learning Centre provides a caring and supportive environment where children have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. We seek to build a strong foundation for future learning.
